Burcu YaÅŸar is a doctoral researcher and fellow at Albrecht Mendelssohn Bartholdy Graduate School of Law (AMBSL), Universität Hamburg. Her overarching research interests revolve around cybercrime and transnational criminal (procedural) law, data-driven investigations and fundamental rights, including privacy and data protection.
Before joining to AMBSL, Burcu worked as a legal researcher at the Centre for IT & IP Law, Faculty of Law and Criminology, KU Leuven. She conducted research on the EU privacy and data protection law and the regulation of artificial intelligence within the framework of EU funded interdisciplinary research projects.
